Two bodies of Italian divers were discovered in the Maldives' underwater cave after an accident that resulted in the loss of life of five people. Those who died were among the group of researchers whose research had taken place in the cave known as "Shark Cave." The cave was situated about 60 meters below water. Some of the victims who lost their lives in the accident were Italian instructors and a Maldivian diver who died while trying to find other missing persons. It should be noted that even though the research had been going on, it was not a safe dive.
